1946 Chevrolet Pickup

Project Overview

Dennis, the owner of the pick up, brought this vehicle to us with a little story on the truck's history.  According to Dennis, 35 years ago this truck was purchased by "Grandpa Vern" for his son Frank.  Frank drove the truck during his high school years until the truck needed a major overhaul.  Frank and Grandpa Vern tore the truck apart with the idea of a restoration. 

Fast forward 30 years and the truck was still torn apart waiting for restoration.  Dennis and Grandpa Vern had become good friends by this time and had spent multiple fishing trips and nights consuming adult beverages discussing plans for the pick up.  They decided that Vern, Dennis, and the boys would restore the truck.  Unfortunately, Vern soon passed away and was unable to ever see the restoration.  Dennis soon bought the truck from Vern's son Frank and carried on with the restoration plans.  This is when the truck showed up at our shop and we had quite the undertaking on our hands.
